Fountains in the interior courtyard of Dar Batha Museum in Fez.
Steps away from the hustle-and-bustle of the Fez medina is the Dar Batha Museum, a 19th-century palace converted into a museum of traditional arts and crafts. The exhibits were organized by medium, with separate rooms for pottery, woodwork, embroidery, zellij (geometrical mosaics) and carpets. Many items dated back hundreds and hundreds of years, demonstrating the deep roots of Moroccan traditional crafts.

While photos were not allowed inside the exhibits due to the delicate nature of the collection, we were able to take some photographs in the beautiful grounds.

We were honored to spend the day with our host, Ghita, her sister-in-law Samira and Samira's sons, Walid and Zakaria. It was a lovely day with such lovely company! Shukran bizzef!
