OUR PROJECT
Our Fund for Teachers grant project is focused on learning more about Moroccan culture and sharing our discoveries with our school community. Roughly 20 percent of our students have Moroccan heritage and we wanted to learn more about how we can incorporate Moroccan culture into our school curriculum and better meet the needs of our Moroccan students and families.
Over the course of three weeks, we will be traveling around Morocco, visiting important cultural sites to learn more about the places, people, history, music, art, religion, food and traditions that make up Moroccan culture. We will be visiting: Casablanca, Rabat, Mohammedia, Salé, Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Ouarzazte, Merzouga, Marrakech, Essaouira.

We will share our experiences on this cultural exchange trip on this website and during some special events during the 2017-2018 school year. Stay tuned!
